1066 Posted July 25, 2013 Report Share Posted July 25, 2013 No - No need to strip the bolt at all although easy enough to do if you need to. Have you fitted a "bolt lift kit"? It's a simple mod and makes for a smoother lighter bolt action - I have also added a longer bolt handle to one of mine. I can just lift the bolt with the back of my hand, very easy.
