packrat Posted July 14, 2013 Report Share Posted July 14, 2013 My Anschutz 1417 is great but both mags I have for it (both 10-round) are unreliable in the feed especially with about 7+ rounds in. Sometimes the round is presented pointed up too far and sometimes down too far, but in both cases the front of the round hits the edge of the chamber rather than feeding cleanly into it. It's a shame that such a great rifle is let down by such a simple fault. Is it generally straightforward to tune the feed lips to present the round properly? Any pointers on how to do this?
