If you are running the older model/ shorter range Leicas I found this to be a definite upgrade over my old LRF1200 unit and about half the size. I saw a much better percentage of "first press" readings out beyond 500m plus the built in inclinometer is an asset for long range work. Only selling as I splashed out on a Vectronix.
