Pet loads for 6.5-47

Hi I'm sure this question been asked many times before but I just can't find the particular information I'm after. Basically I will be running a 31",1in8 twist barrel and intend using Lapua 139 scenars or perhaps the new 136L scenars, from between 300 to 1000 yards all suitable powder types and load data much appreciated.

I am shooting a 30" 8 twist with 140gr Amax the load i am using is 40gr of h4350. This a load i nicked of rabbit fingers he and several others are using the same load give or take half of grain. Make sure your rifle is throated to take the longer bullets.

Hi JCS just been on that site those guys seem to like H4350 but I was thinking more under the lines of v550 or 560 any ideas?.

Try and pm rabbit fingers i think he tried most powders. i havn't found any advantage using 500 series powders in terms of velocity. H4350 seems to be a superb powder with heavier bullets.

Thank you matchking I'll pm him tomorrow all the American shooters seem to like H4350 it might not be easy to get a regular supply according to what people say,again thanks for youre help.
