nuttyspaniel
Well what a day I had!!! 8 shots seen it scoped in at 1.5" high at a 100 that should see the rifle shoot out to 250 without any problems. The next 3 shots were to try a group! Perfect 3 shots same hole!!! Not bad for my 1st batch of home loads! The next 3 shots were 1/2grn hotter but the group opened out to 1/4" clover leaf, I didnt feel there was much point in trying the 48grn loads so they came home to get pulled! Of to the ground now to sit out for the reds which are going into the rape. Awell no Reds came out to play but a doe did! 115grn Nosler partions are the job!! I couldnt get a clean engine room shot but with the way the rifle was shooting a swift high neck shot brought it down. Ive only fired 15 rounds total out the rifle and it's to good to be true. My pennies worth is if anyone is looking for another rifle and they find a SHR 970 in their calibre buy it you wont be dissapointed.
nuttyspaniel
Oh I forgot to add sammi for the 25-06 is 3.25 but these were to long and catching the lands so I backed of to 3.22 which also fitted in the mag aswell as being clear of the lands.
