Orka Akinse
A couple of Q's to the smithy's and stock builders out there: 1. Is there enough "meat" on the end of a Mcmillan A5 stock to take the AI bipod spigot? 2. The "Saddle" adjustable cheek piece is a PITA can a new section be cut into it? Or is there a way of fixing the screws so they don't loosen every second shot. Any advice would be appreciated.
baldie
I,ve never fitted a spigot personally into an A5. Looking at the one sat here in front of me, i would say not , but it does have a 1" thick barrel on it. Have you tried an O ring over the thread to lock the screws with ? Thanks Dave, if you recall, when you worked your magic by coating my action and barrel my barrel has a one inch profile too and so I thought it'd be tight. I'm not sure I picture what your saying buddy re the O rings. OA
