If its just for range use you will get the same effect for a lot less money by just fittting a decent muzzle brake. You wil also save a further £26 as you wont need a variation.

personally I had no issue getting a mod granted for target on health and safety grounds.

 

I had a PES T12 on my Remmy 308 and it was so much better to shoot

Hi,

 

If you are granted a variation for a rifle for range use you will have no problem getting permission for a moderator. Most of our club members have them. Just be aware that if you have a lightweight hunting type mod. you could well have mirage problems, go for a heavier Milspec. type mod.
