Plenty of recorded incidents of crap 18650s catching alight, or blowing up, so its worth getting good ones. Various places sell them including flashaholics http://www.flashaholics.co.uk/batteries/lithium-rechargeable-batteries.html just a heads up, there were loads of fake ultrafire chargers doing the rounds a while ago, they not only knacker batteries, they could also make them catch alight. Anything like ultraFIRE trustFIRE xxxxFIRE tends to be hugely over enthusiastic in their claims. Except Surefire that is. A fine example of this is an ebay listing Ultrafire 4800lumen Single mode Hunting torch shooting air gun+scope mount Zoom. Claiming 4800 lumens from 3 x AAA batteries defies so many laws..
