dannywayoflife Posted July 14, 2012 Report Share Posted July 14, 2012 Well I had my 3 hour slot at the Carlton moor range yesterday. I wanted to check zero on my TIkka T 3 .223 and my HMR. I was mega impressed with the range. A real good set up. Mike and his staff were great and really friendly! To say I was amazed with the accuracy in a sterile environment of the T3 would be an understatement! Once properly zeroed it was putting every brand/load all through the same hole! I even did different loads and brands in the same mag and it made no difference! The best groups were less than 5pence size for 3 shots! The HPS ammo I tried were the 69 grain and 77 grain loads and as stated earlier shot identically so I will go with the 77 grain as they should be better in the wind. The only down side was the chrono wasn't working (someone has shot it so didn't get to chrono the loads) but now I knw where it is and it's perfect for me on my trips between Sussex and York I will be calling in regularly!
