snc_2010
Let's talk stock design. What is it that makes CISM style stock designs and what makes them good/bad? By CISM style stock designs I'm talking about designs typified by rifles like the AIAW, Sako TRG or Finnfire Range and other eponymous CISM competition rifles. Accuracy International Arctic Warfare Sako TRG Sako Finnfire Range Steyr CISM Characteristics: Upright pistol grip Deep and angled forend flowing into magwell Little/no drop at comb So what are these design features there for? What makes the design features/principles of a CISM style stock work? P.S. I don't know much about CISM competition itself so feel free to chime in about that if it helps.
