I have both the PC and Palm versions, they are very, very good.

At the time I purchased there were few pocket pc's available for decent prices so I opted for a Palm - no regrets.

Other than the different OS, I am sure that the pocket PC version is as good as the palm version.

Palm Tungsten T3

pros, light easy to use, screen large and can be dimmed in low light, internal battery good for about a days use.

Con, in cold weather you need to keep it in an inside pocket to prevent battery premature failure.

I'd buy the same again, when the time comes, no question, or opt for the more expensive ABC from Chey-Tac - which is bullet and waterproof ;)

Google search Perry Systems in the states, the software comes on CD and is cheap at current xch rate.

There are copy discs around but, I personally wouldn't recommend that route for obvious reasons. (copright breach, no warranty, no back up etc etc etc)

Thanks Guys,

I had heard about the 5.11 Watch too but the price was abit too steep for

me,I also have a nasty habit of killing watches.

If I can get one to last a day I am doing great, but thats what I get for being a wrench bender.

Ronin,

The piece your using is more likely the route I will go once I get things goin again

The ABC from Chey tac is a very neat tool....almost forgot about that one.

The CT ABC is possibly the best ballistic handheld ballistic computer you can get, it even allows for three wind inputs (at firing point, mid range and at target location) using a click and drag pointer.

If you are really pushing the ranges you can account for the corrolis effect (spin of the earth) but I dont think anyone here will bother about that one as its beyond 1000 yards it has effect.

I have a mate who has an ABC on long term test and it has not been without software problems, BUT, when it works (which is all the time now) its bang on 99% of the time.

Wouldn't like to see how much one is though ;)

I forgot too mention that is without the balistics program.

The ABC is available only to Special People.

So best available to me is the CABC,wich is on a

Dell Axiom X30.But that might have changed too.

The 5.11 watch, I see referances to the Horus Vision Reticles,

The earlier version I seen was in Mils and MOA

Trying to do everything I can to keep from carrying something

like the m700.

Last thing I want is a cell phone when I am hunting.....

I like it when nobody can reach me.
