Rammer223
Had a Nikon monarch 800 camo model not used it that much but so far been real disappointed it will only range out to about 200 yards on slopping ground etc then you have to start looking for shall we say more reflective targets but as nobody has told the rabbit crows etc so it's pretty much useless as I am using 223 not the flattest shooting round about are all range finders like this ? Or will some range slopping ground / smaller targets , to save me making another expensive purchase
Rammer223
Hi ronny It has G function ( first target priority) but not been using it had it set on distant target priority Does yours do grass banks slopping ground past 200 yards is so how far will it reach I can range some type tree's out to 600 plus but struggle on what I would call featureless targets ! achosenman
I use a pair of Zeiss 10x45 RF bins. I very rarely have a problem getting a reading. They tend to fail in misty conditions over flat terrain if anything. As Ronny says you don’t have to ping the target, use a feature or object close by. If all else fails, a Mil Dot ret is your friend. ATB
