maltbuck
Urgent help required please!! I have just turned on my RCBS Chargemaster combo for the first time, and instead of all the 99999 s counting down to zero, I get the display showing 02009 which then remains. Tried switching it off - no joy, still get the same problem. Scale is level - have checked. Typical timing with Easter cannot raise rcbs in USA!! Any suggestions??? Exceptionally frustrating as was going to work up a load for my 30-06 tomorrow. Help much appreciated. Regards, Maltbuck

maltbuck
Thanks for the reply Spud. The unit has never been used so it will be a PITA if that's the case. There are a few people that have had that 02009 code if you look on the net but no clear answers.

maltbuck
I take it you got it from the US ?? did you get this sorted?? Purchased in UK, but for reasons I will not bore people with lain unused for over 12 months, and now out of warranty period! My own fault should have used it before. Hopefully sorted by contacting RCBS direct and the reply was provide proof of purchase and take photos of smashed unit!!, then with reduced fee they will send me a new one out. We will wait and see when/what arrives. Meantime need to purchase a pair of beam scales, what do people recommend RCBS or Redding??
