162g Amax in 7mm wht barrel manafacture

has anyone had good results with 7mm 162 g amax's?

 

if so could you let me know what make barrel it was please!

1-9 twist broughton and bartlien and trueflight all shot bugholes ,i use them in my 7mm saum long range rig and they are verry accurate if you dont push them to fast

Bartlein 9 twist 5R rifling.

Got good results in my .284 using 56.5 grains of H4831sc.

For my needs though the 180 bullets offered better long range performance for F class.

Have you got access to quickload? that might help ascertain whether 32" is really gonna change your life compared to say 29

Dunno about feeding...I'm no gunsmith, but it does seem to be the area that is the biggest challenge when building a rifle.

I'm going left port right bolt with mine mate - no mag, no hassle, £100s saved...And bet you it'll barely be any slower (i glue a bullet holder to the side of the stock to help)

I fancy a mag this time for kicks really as my other rifles are sing shot

 

altho if i cant find one a savage left port single shot may be the way forward!

 

 

no access to quickload im afraid but it would be nice to be able to make a mile shot:-P
