i have a roar jacket - 100% waterproof and windproof, hood is like a neck brace when folded away. great for highseat work, kill something and try to drag or carry it and you will be sweating like a .......

i was given mine, wouldnt buy one but wouldnt get rid of it either, worth the space it takes up but i would spend more if i were looking for a new jacket.

as above the collar is rather neck brace like when hood folded up

and not too breathable....

but

bloody hell its waterproof and for 85 quid ish all in from opticswarehouse

its not a £400 jacket so shouldnt be compared to one

but certainly worth 85 quid in my opinion

wear mine beating ina downpour or out on the mud with the semi-auto at the geese and bone dry

I had a swazi (which the ridgeline are an 'extremely' close copy of (I mean tribute to :lol: )).

On the Swazi, which is legendary for some reason; I found the cut all wrong.

Tight across the back and loose across the front & hood not tall enough. A coat for mutants with small heads :lol:

I tried a ridgeline on at a local shop - I think the cut was waay better.

But, the basic ridgeline (torrent) isn't, I believe, actually sold as being breathable.

(think it has '-tex' in the name -but read the blurb carefully)

For me...the green is too dark -you'll stand out as a black blob at distance;

and as for the 'buffalo cam' well....it's just full-on stupid :rolleyes: : white & bright enough for the arctic spring or fall , and little piccies of buffalo faces all over it :blink::wacko:

Works well here........ on snow :lol:
