Sadly many have forgotten and many younger ones dont even know or care. :lol:

Its also about the lads dying and being injured now too! which seems to be an unpopular point of view. I feel for them and their families, they are doing this for many reasons but money certainly isnt one of them.

This is Remembrance Sunday in UK, maybe in the US as well I think ?

 

It is to commemorate and respect the dead and missing in all wars , and falls on the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month , to coincide with the moment the guns fell silent in France to end WW1.

 

"They shall not grow old as we who are left grow old.

Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.

At the going down of the sun and in the morning,

WE WILL REMEMBER THEM."

Tryin to remeber the last time I seen a Vet "sellin"

Poppies...its been a few years.

More than 5...

 

Sad....Dad always bought one.And I try to when I see them.
