Lowther is a wonderful show, certainly one of the best of the year, mainly due to the location, and the wonderful local people. I had the honour, once, of standing in the fell huntsman and their whips line up, for the best turned out. It was an honour to stand amongst such famous men. Pikeys everwhere!!!! not a rabbit nor the vicars cat'll be safe....... The weather's predicted as iffy, but if't sun's out it's a bloody hammer in that hole!! so fingers crossed. Ratty. ....
