Considering purchasing one (4-16 x 50 varmint), for quick and simple hold over points, with no 2nd image focal plane complications. Info/opinions gratefully received. Ok for an emergency long range shot at a deer but I didn't seem to shoot to well at smaller long range targets. Dialing in is better. The 4-16 I had, had absolutely brilliant glas. Was better at dusk than my 8x56 s&b. You could get precision hunter turrets retro fitted. then you'd have both. edi Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
