gunnery
well finally got leica 1600 range finder just thought i would let members know a little what i have learned about it so far went to scotland friday afternoon only just picked range finder up from mc avoys first inpressions was how small and compact it is a joy to hold and use about 3/4 the size of the old version 1200 accuracy within spec within manual spec ranged a bungalow 1530yrds away in slight mist and heavy rain pinged it 3 times 1530 1532 and 1530 very impressed with it ranging out to 400 and 600yrds seems to be pretty much bang on taking into account wheather condition it as a ballistic drop on it and pressure and you can switch from yrds to metres not got into this yet but all in all it seems to be really good very pleased with it i would think the swarvorski 8x30 would be its main competitor but the leica is £620 and swar is £
griffshrek
Thanks for the update as i am sort of looking for a better RF as i have one of the cheaper models that is ok to 550m but after that it get hard to range stuff and by luck my shooting has got better and im sort of beating the RF
