Yeah it's gradually been being removed around the world for the past week or so.
I've moved over to Hornady 4DOF after watching a few of the Hornady Podcasts about it.

I had an Eberlestock Little Brother which was a cracking backpack for range use with both top and front opening.
However the scabbard for rifle carriage wasn't ideal for range use. So I've moved to a Eberlestock Sniper Sled and re purposed an old 5.11 Rucksack for carrying first aid, wet/cold gear etc

Ah just seen you're in Colchester! Didn't realise that until just then. I'm in Chelmsford.
Yeah the advertised prices are usually quite high but they'll always knock it down from my experience with them.
And the aftercare is usually faultless.
Anyway.. let's find you a 6.5 AT
Tried sporting services?

I saw another retailer saying they're not going to have any AIs in stock after their last one sells due to Ukraine.
There's an AT in stock at my local RFD.. Eastern Sporting.
Edit: but that's in .308 So ignore me

Nice. I was just enquiring for now. I'm booked onto the PRS UK match in April and likely doing the June one too.. was looking at coming up to Eskdalemuir maybe next year.
Money dependant I'll maybe look at the July one 👍

How much are the Big SIS matches usually?
Can only RSVP at the moment and can't see a ticket cost?

Don’t bother with the thumbhole.
My AW long action (.300wm) is terribly uncomfortable. The grip is small in the hand and with the thumbhole, slightly awkward to grip. I once had a manners thumbhole and that was a far more ergonomic design.
I much prefer the MPA competition chassis on my Impact 737…waaay more comfortable than the AI.
Ronin’s point about the ATX probably makes sense given it’s more a vertical grip.
What's the point of even owning an AI if you don't thumbhole 😝
Going back to the original post though.. what do you use each of those calibres for? You may be better off narrowing your collection down to two rifles instead of one rifle with two barrels..?
Then put them both in AICS Thumbhole chassis for the AI allyness that will undoubtedly make you 100x cooler than other shooters 🤪
However, Screw logic! Buy an AT..

The thread protector on mine is really loose that you can spin it off..
I can't remember now but does it have a grub screw on the thread protector? In the first picture it definitely looks like there's something in the hole...?

I’m after some advice, I’ve been thinking about downsizing and I’m thinking all I need is 1 rifle and 1 semi shotgun for wildfowling.
does the AT fit the bill ?
I currently have a 223,22-250,6BR,243win,6.5cm I like the idea of just one rifle that does it all I’m thinking an AT in 6.5cm with possibly a 243win spare barrel in the future.
feel free to talk me out of it.
I love my AT .308 too bits and I will likely be getting a 6.5 barrel for it at some point.
Albeit I do wonder if it might be 'too heavy' for some applications...?

Tinnitus after shooting despite ear pro
in General Discussion

Any ideas as too why after the last few times I've been shooting that I end up with Tinnitus in my right ear despite using SureFire Sonic Ear Plugs and Peltor Sport Tacs?
