Reading the comments on Facebook I see somebody's noticed the hourly rate for the electronic targets has gone up.....
Yep, £25, but it was a nice afternoon on Sunday.

I was approached by 'saint.andrew' on Monday 11 May and 'Jasonxx' on Wednesday 13 May.
-
Yep, just had the same message from 'Jasonxx' in reply to a wanted post. And previously from 'saint.andrew'.
I think the proposal of keeping it hidden until a member has a few posts or has spent some time as a user would be a good idea.

Yes, God knows what his private collection is worth!

Yes, excellent book, very worthwhile purchase.

NEITHER of my Police/PSS models came with anything other than a factory Walker trigger
The first was so bad, with a 14-lb pull weight from the factory, that I thought it was broken - took all of about 20 minutes to adjust it to a very good let off, and it needed no further tuning/adjustment for the next 2 decadesSounds about right, I only mention the 40X as it is what now comes on the Police model, the other 700s typically come with the X Mark Pro trigger (smooth shoe with an adjustment screw in the shoe).

Remington 700 Police/PSS comes with a 40X trigger. No need for mods. Sub MOA accuracy. Just add optics. 👍

That does look good, impressive set up. Are there any tunneling issues at lower magnification? When you say made to your spec, did you specify a reticle?

If it's a short action, I will take it please.

Wow, that looks incredible. Thanks for sharing the pics, hopefully there might be some follow up analysis to break it down.

Kifaru Gun Bearer sounds like it will be just the ticket. https://store.kifaru.net/mobile/universal-gun-bearers-p197.aspx
Have a look on YouTube as well for how it works. I personally think it could be improved, but it will do what you require.

Happy New Year to all.
Plans - get down to Bisley and stretch my rifles legs, get some data for long range. Also going to start reloading, glad I've saved most of my older brass!
-
Happy New Year to you mate, and everyone else. Hope it brings new goals and new triumphs.
-
Thanks for the additional info, all going to be considered.

Got a tin of Bisley Bore Cleaner and a tin of Bisley Gun Oil in my Christmas stocking. Is this any good or is it one of those things that should silently disappear...
-
Wow, that's pricier than I thought it would be.

Personally I would use N150 for anything 175gn+
N140 is ideal for the 155gn bullets.
Interesting, I’ve largely found the same as you but specifically with respect to some of the RS double based powders.
N140 was infinitely better (with the components I tested) than RS52 (double based). But RS62 (single based) was very good, though still didn’t have as low ES/SD as N140.
But I’m VERY impressed using RS80 (mildly double based) in the big .338 Norma Magnum. Consistently single digits SD and extreme accuracy with that powder. Below examples are 5x groups.
It might be that some of the RS double based powders are just a bit different/finicky??
That's quite some shooting there friend. 👍

So, N150?!

Get in touch with Adam at S&B UK. It's more than likely possible.

Thanks guys, will look at getting N140 to start off.
Limited re opening of Bisley from 23rd/24th of May

No, I haven't actually seen it as an option? It was fairly dead yesterday. I was on Century yesterday at 100 to check zero and at my time slot there were only two of us. No one on 300 and about two on 600. I didn't see any others on the list for 100 after my time slot.
