  1. I am with Pops on this one

I've just read through the consultation in detail, I have responded to the on-line survey and expressed my views and concerns with some ideas for consideration.

I suggest others do the same and exercise their democratic rights.

You basically need to find an external or internal load bearing wall. Some big anchor bolts and you are there.

+1 - You can even fix if breeze/cinder blocks walls. There is another thread on here regarding the resin glue needed for cinder block. It goes off bloody quick and sets like concrete

One word of caution if you go the loft route. Make sure your joists can take the weight etc and you can get through the loft hatch. You may want to consider putting it flat rather than upright. In our old house, we had the joist reinforced. My FEO at the time told me to tell the builder " I was taking up model trains" I just asked at my local club was there a builder they trusted.

Getting a 7 gun XL Brattonsound through the loft hatch was hilarious.

    Good luck

  5. Also for Bisley, you need HME  specifically stated on SSC. I asked at the range office re 33XC and told it was over 7K limit and a no.

Have to say so far this year when using my 300 WSM its been straight forward. The hard bit was getting HME on my NRA SCC.

Every time I have shown my SSC the card at the range office. Ask for the card, I have zeroed at zero butts, taken a photo of it and handed back the card to the range office before going to shoot, and been on Stix ready for the 8.30 hooter.

Three shot group in the box is key to no hassle. They don't like shots walking up or down the paper.

The one below was for Imperial Meeting but there is a 300WInMag card too . It adds about 15 mins.

  6. +1 RCBS chargemaster Lite with shooting shed thingy for overthrows. I also double-check on a small electronic balance. For the Imperial, I had only two overthrows and two charges out on electronic balance.+/- 0.1gn.

I use Lyman check weights to make sure they are both calibrated. Its electronic scale tends to drift.  It was off amazon I did see on youtube that the chargemaster works better 40gn and above.

I am hoping for father Xmas to bring me a https://ceproducts.shop/collections/full-reloading-kit

  7. Sorry to hear about your dilemma.

FWIW - If it was me - Safety first. Ditch it and buy new.

Perhaps the moderator or one of the wise sages on here could arbitrate between you and the other party privately?

If it was me I would offer that and if a no, name, and shame.  At least that way other people on the forum could then make informed choices on whether to deal with that person in the future.
