  1. Just finished my load development on the .260 ackley built by Dave at Valkyrie rifles.(4 shot group at 100 yards using 46.4 grns of rs 62 going out at 2923 cold barrel and 4-5 thou off rifling) This thing can shoot just like all the other rifles Dave has done for me. He is on with a 7mm REM mag at the moment and I am positive it will shoot as straight as this and can’t wait to get it back. Top work Dave and thanks again  💪🏻👍

Have you considered the 12-50 PM11?

No I never thought about it to be fair I was just looking at the x35 n/f or the x50 delta or the x25 pm11?? I want high mag really so x30 is a minimum max zoom if you get my thinking, finding a 12-50 pm11 is the other task but I would definitely be interested in one

I'm used to both NXS and ATACR N/Fs as well as Swaros. I shoot F Class as well as hunt. One of my fullbore clubmates has a 5-50 Delta and some of us looked through it one day. It is razor sharp but without exception, all of us were struck by just how critical the eye relief is when you get above say 35X. Put me right off.

Very interesting thanks for that information, maybe the x30 is a better choice ? Or the pm11? Oh gif I just can’t decide

  4. My decision is hard in the way that I like my atacr that I have and I also have x30 power deltas and they are good for the money I’m just not a 100% on the 5-50 delta reticle so atacr would be the way but price is a issue unless I can find a nice second hand 7-35?? The pm11 will b a good hardy scope I’m convinced of that but I think the delta and atacr are more advanced

  5. Hi folks, I am interested in views on this bullet if anyone has tried them with success or failure?? I have used Barnes 80grn ttsx in .25.06 and their lrx 139grn in my 7mmrm with good success and overall the 150+ deer I have shot with them they preformed well with no real issues after I got used to them. I just fancied a change in cal and bullet and looked at these e-tip’s. Any experiences good or bad is much appreciated. Thanks

The Sako 691 is the same as the Tikka 690/695 action

I have a Tikka 690 here  I can measure action hole spacing from but the bottom metal is totally different

if I were you, I’d source a stock to suit - they are readily available

Thanks for the info mate, when I looked on Jackson’s web page they just had sako 75 in various action sizes and 85 the same and  a A1. I have tried to google McMillan 691 stocks but with no definitive answer so I guess I was just hoping a 75 iv would fit

  7. Hi everyone,I am looking for a bit of help if possible please? I am trying to find/figure out if a sako 691 iv action would fit into a brand new McMillan 75 iv stock without to much trouble??? I have a 75iv that I’m selling as I am wanting to build one but rather than cutting a good rifle up so to speak I have the chance of a shot out rifle with a 691 iv action for cheap so I thought I might go down that route if it’s do able?? Thanks if you read this and can help .
