  1. How can you compress it ? For me, i tap it 2-3 times in lapua case and i seat the bullet ok. So today i went to range and i shoot it 2'800 coal with 44.5 RS 70  and was hole in hole almost. I think this will be my load. Now i need to test it at different temperatires and i will let you know.

I need to state it, i am NOT banchrestand i dont weight bullets/cases...

    Min,2740, Max,2753
    Avg,2747 ,S-D, 5.6
    ES ,  13

    Series,Shot,Speed
    32, 1, 2749, ft/s
    32, 2, 2751, ft/s
    32, 3, 2740, ft/s
    32, 4, 2753, ft/s
    32, 5, 2742, ft/s

  2. Ok, so i am back from testing. Today i tried RS 70 with 147 eld-m. I must say i am suprised how good speed i got.

So, i have 24.016 inch barrel and OBT say my node is at 1.229ms with 2788fps. In QL it say 45.6 grains at 2'870coal. I tested it 45.3, 45.6 and 45.9. Those are actuall numbers i shoot (on pic down).

1st i shoot 5 shoots to each load on target and after i shoot away from this target to measure speed for each load (since i dont have labradar and magnetospeed will change my POI...) In calculation i need to go down 0.4grains to match speed from QL. So the same load 45.6 (calculated from QL) gave me actuall 2812 fps, thats like 1.211ms. I think this is really nice powder for this bullet weight and there is NON sign of any pressure. Now i need to test it at different celsius and se its stability, since i dont trust data from Swiss Reload  - https://www.reload-swiss.com/en/reload_swiss/service_3/tipps_und_tricks_neu/temperaturkoeffizient/index.php

  3. I think (hope i am not wrong) N150 is temp stable powder and doesnt have that nytroglycerine coat so there is no oxidation. But I think 8.8 mil for 1000m is good and i will not need heavy bullet, mayby i am wrong ?

If someone has time to calculate my node would be great to see if it is  really node?

  4. Ok guys. Today i tested N150 with 123 scenar in 610mm long 1/8 new barrel.

I must say i was shocked. I used Lapua SP 6.5 creedmoor case 1'910 trimm, cci br4 and 2'800 coal with 41.9 grains of n150. It was 29 celsius. 52.1 h2O case volumen

That speed... crazy. No pressure signs at all.  SD 1,7 and ES:4 , this is node, right ? This was 4 shoots (i left 1 so i could measure h20 for reference)

What really bothers me is QuickLoad with all my data gives me 2901 fps (with temperature and case volumen). 96 fps are somewhere and i do not know why so much difference than QL

  5. I can. This winter i was shooting competition with my load i made in shummer and temperatures were near 0. When i made load it was 25-30 celsius. I come to competition and shoots were all over the place or not in target anymore. Was really frustrationg. My speed went down for almost 150 fps , crazy. Till than i was really happy i used RS62 as Laurie was promoting it as great 6.5 creedmoor powder. I didnt know that time numbers/temp stable . Now i just want to have stable powder with still good velocities. It is hard to get it. Mayby VV N150 can do the trick or i will try also Lovex So70

  6. So i got this from swiss reload

    Temperature coefficient          m/s pro K

    RS36 7.62mm x 39 0.60
    RS40 .223 Rem 0.45
    RS50 .308 Win 0.70
    RS52 .308 Win 0.55
    RS60 8 x 68 S 0.25
    RS62 .270 Win 0.90
    RS70 .300 Win Mag 0.45
    RS76 7mm Rem Mag 0.20
    RS80 .338 Lapua Mag 0.20

Looks like rs62 is the most sensitive per c? Any sugesstion to try another EU powder for 6.5 creedmoor ? N550 ?

  7. Hello all. I read a lot about 6.5 , 139 lapua and rs62 here on forum. I found my load with it, but it was in summer and temperatures were quite higher 30 celsius. My load was 44.3 rs62, 139 with 2809 coal/2245 ogive. If i remember my speed was 2796 fps/852ms. When reloading this much of powder i can hear sound of powder compression when seating bullet in. But now i tested now same load and i lost a lot of speed and therefore my load is out of OBT. I reaload 44.4 grains and my speeds were 2670-2640fps /804ms at 1 celsius. Anyone here with any info on RS62 temperature sensitivity ? I added 0.1 grains but looks like still to little. But if i would go more with powder than my seating deph will not be that consistent cose of bullet hitting /compressing powder. Would i need to consider to get new powder, any sugesstions on this one?

Forgot to add, i use Lapua case with 1.910 lenght SP and .290 bushing on my redding FL die
