Hello.
Today i tested 130 TTSX with RS62. You can see my data. Any idea where to load?
starting from 56 with 0.2 grains increase each shoot. My OBT in GRT tools say should be 925ms, so shoots 5 if you see 4-5 and 6 are good vertical i think?
1: 56 - 915ms
2: 56.2 - 909
3:56.4 - 914
4: 56.6 - 920
5: 56.8- 925
6: 57 - 932
7: 57.2 - 941
8: 57.4 - 954
9: 57.6 - 947

Yesterday i wanted to test lead bullets to see how is barrel and i tested Berger 150 vld hunting with RS70. You can see barrel is not problem. Lots of people is telling me that copper bullets are not that precised. What is your experience?
905ms
150 VLD Hunting at 84.06mm coal
RS70
GM210M LP

I resized case, press bullet little in to case with bullet seater and closed the bolt.

So, my max oal is 3.327 (84.54mm), i tried to reload at 3.210 (81.55mm) and 3.289 (83.55). Animals are wild pigs, deer, stag. I am not really satisfied with new gun to shoot 2.5cm group wit Lotherwalter barrel. I used to test N150, but i saw it has really high BA than normal. So my load was 50.4gr of N150 at 3.289, with nosler brass 70.9grains H2O, federal premium match LR primers and 130 GMX hornady. I have also option to pick RS70, RS60, N550 or N555.
My speed with this reload was 924ms - 3031fps avarage

Hello all. I just bought .270win Titan 6 (560mm,15mm,1/10) and i can not make it work with 130 grains GMX. Do you guys have same experience with copper bullets? I am asking, because in my CZ .308 i also could not make it work with e-tip from Nosler and GMX. I am trying to develop "lead free" hunting reload, but 2.5cm group on 100m is for me not that good. That is min group i could make with gmx. SD and es are good, 3shoots ,925ms avarage, ES:3, SD:1.7
Any advice on this one?

Hello everyone, long time i didnt post anything, so today i would like to ask you for your experience in lubricants. Will it effect on neck tention if i use lub on one case and not on another? Will give me any value or just beter /smoother sizing? What lub do you use for inside case and how you clean it off? I was thinking to use just graphit powder and div case neck in to it.

N555 works good with 143 eld-x , but question is, what do you get from N555 powder, that you can not get from N550/N160? Personally i bought this powder but loading 46 grains even for scenars 139 is questioning myself why not just go with 160 or 550 or even rs60. I used rs62 , but it is time sensibility. I think that coating get "destroyed" over time and is not working like fresly bought powder. But that just me.

Rs70 is temp stable. I did not test it, because i changed bullet company to Lapua. I got one bullet hornady 147 eld-m with totally different ogive ( i could not close bolt) and for me this is enought big excuse to go for new bullet company. As i already chaged barrel (tested few bullets with old barrel) i know i will not be disapointed and damm i was right. You can see 139 Lapua scenar x5 with N550 below.

If you have 5 loads and you start at 90 grain, 91, 92, 93, 94, 95 Yo shoot 1shoot 90, 2nd 91, 3th 92 ets... When you get to last you wait to cool barrel down and than you go from back to 1st shoot. 95, 94,93,92,91,90 ... so you repeat again now from start of 90, 91,92....till you empty box

Yea, i agree with round-robin. Will try it in saturday.

0.1 grain in .338LM is nothing mate. It is not 6.5 creed that you would do load by 0.2 or 0.3 grain increasment. Even so a good node lets say 43 grains (6.5creed) can shoot good between 42.8 and 43.3. What i want to say is that in 338 load 0.5 grain will have min effect and if node it 92 it will shoot also at 91, alteast not really THAT huge group open. I can start 89 up to 97 but min i would go is by 0.5 grains. Yes i never shoot RS80. I was using N570. But i cleaned totally barrel and i will test next time 91.5 , 96.5 and 97

I mostly did shoot each group than wait. Only for 92 group i shoot 2 shoots (1st 2) and i shoot another 3 on end. Because i saw 2 shoots really spread and i thought will be bad so i left 3 shoots for end. Mayby i will try 91.5 grains to see. But for long range do i seak accuracy or better sd ? Cose it may be good at 100m and bad at 1000m

Yea, it is 100m. I am interested in group 3 (94), it has nice SD but on target it is awfull.

Hello, i would like to ask you if this is normal groups after barrel cleaning ? I shoot 600 rounds and never cleaned gun and now i clean it and got this kind of groups when testing for new powder. I measured speed (only 2) for each load and than shoot 5 groups of 5 shoots.
.338LM with rs80, 3.681oal starting from 92-96 grains
