Was looking for a long range rifle but a lesser calibre than Lapmag .I am a lefty but given that I shoot from fixed positions with my long range kit a right handed rifle is not an issue......I looked around for a few weeks to see what was on offer as I really couldn’t be bothered with the cost and hassle of getting one built.....My final choice was the Sabatti Evo tactical in 300 win mag and to date I have no regrets ...Well made ,well priced and sub .5 moa is a winner for me.Stock is adjustable and seems fine for me .Is anybody having problems with their stocks ?

I have a PM2 50x Schmidt and in all honesty don’t think I have used it at full whack....handy to get past 25x if you feel the need though.

Since they effectively banned them in May and given the lack of range availability due to C19 ...quite proud of the fact I have been able to send upwards of 500 rounds downrange out of mine.

Spent a long time shooting right handed rifles as a lefty..then went the full nine yards and bought all left handed rifles.Now realise that if you shoot most of your life off a bipod or a bench right bolt for a left handed shooter is an excellent compromise....particularly with the larger calibres ....my 338 and 300wm are both right handed rifles and I definitely do not feel awkward using them in this way.

If that is the case probably Vortex,Sightron,Burris....Nikon are reasonably priced too though they are not currently in production

It would help if you stated your budget for the rig.A decent high end scope can be had for new midrange money if you shop around....Nightforce springs to mind for starters

Thinking of sorting myself out with some night vision for occasional use...mainly for vermin ,rabbits and the occasional fox. Thinking of mounting it on a air rifle/rim my and a 223 if there is such a multi tasking type tool.Not wanting to spend a fortune and not bothered if second hand.

Pretty certain Brownells do a Benelli fit picatinny rail for the M2....I had one on my M1  SBE .....thinking it was around £40

Many are not as fortunate though .Personally a member of a couple of clubs that have ranges independent of the Mod but they are a hike.My closest range is 15 minutes away....but Mod and closed after today.

Any excuse to bump the civvies from range...It would be a relatively easy exercise to accommodate the latest rules....a disgrace.
