  2. Some time ago I ordered a few round count books from Impact data books in the States.I've used up the ones I had and decided to order a few more which I thought coulsd be sent

in a envelope like a large letter.  They were looking over $40 postage which I consider a bit spendy.

Anyone aware of any UK based company printing  anything similar?

Approx. A6 size, light cardboard cover 16 double sided pages so 32 sides.  Coloums laid out as Date, Ammunition, No. Fired Total

    On bottom of right pagethree lines laid out as;

    Page total

    Previous page total

    Overall total.

I really like these and I think it would help sell a rifle to a prospective buyer having a documented round count.  However the $40 shipping  +import +£18 for handling by Royal Mail

is way too much.  Anyone found anything similar closer to home?  thanks for reading.  JP.

  3. My last loading for the 6.5 creed. was using RS 62.  My rifle is an AW with Bartlein 1 in 8.5 very heavy varmint profile.  Work done by Baldie, (thank you Dave).

Start load with Lapua 139gn. Scenars was 43.0 gns 20thou off the lands, group 3/4 moa.  Moved to 43.6gns,

dropped to 1/2 moa.  Tried 43.9gns RS62. clover leafed.  I would have posted a photo had my phone not been nicked on Saturday night.
No sign of any pressure whatsoever.  New Lapua small primer brass btw, loaded straight out of the box. Cheers J.

  4. Yes, I have 3 different height mounts and use them with all my presses.  Mine are the ultra change type.  If your bench is up to it they just do not flex.  I’ve just ordered an ultra mount for my Dillon XL 650.

Really strong, no flex, well made, what’s not to like.  Also Dan Clusen, the owner of the company is a really nice guy.  Fast despatch and he will use the cheapest way to post.

PM me your number and I will send you a few snaps.  Cheers J.

  5. I have the following items for sale:

    1.  Harris bipod, it's marked  SL model, Fixed with smooth adjustable legs, (9 - 13") excellent condition only some range use.  Retail, 82.50.  Asking £55.00 posted.

    2.  Harris bipod, marked S25, Fixed with smooth legs adjustable from 12" - 25" as new condition been on rifle to test but never out of the house.  Retail £102.00.  Asking £75.00 posted.

    3.  Forester bench primer, as new, very little use.  Boxed.  Retail £110.00, asking £80.00 posted.

    4.  Foxpro caller, Spitfire model,  excellent condition.  Only used a handful of times.  Compact and easily carried in a large pocket or pack.  I found this very effective, it was my first caller and I had success with it        every time it was out.  I upgrader to another  Fox pro but hung on to it.  Asking £75.00 posted.  SOLD PENDING THE USUAL.

    5.  Foxpro caller Shockwave model.  Up graded to this from the Spitfire.  I think this is the top of the range caller they do? This caller has all the bells and whistles.  100 calls on board up gradable to 1000,  stereo dual speakers, adjustable for direction.  Excellent condition, retails at £499.00, asking £350.00.  SOLD.

Reason for sale of above 1,2,4,5.  I don't hunt anymore.  No. 2,  I now have on board press priming so the Forester is now surplus to requirements.

Unfortunately, I can't do photos as my phone was misplaced/ stolen last night.  Sorry.

Thanks for looking, if interested please PM.  Cheers.  J.

  6. I shot the PSUK meeting at Bisley 3 maybe 4 years ago at Bisley, as I have done for the last 30 years.  Was woken on the Monday morning at 4am by lots of vehicles moving into the car park of St. Georges Lodge.  Turned out it was for the filming of, 'Endevour'.  Turned out lovely folks and when the crew had fed they invited us to their canteen, (a converted double decker bus), so nothing would be thrown out.  As I said lovely people.  JP.

  7. May I wish a peaceful, prosperous, happy and healthy new year to all on here?   The feedback, and passing of information and support,  entertainment is outstanding.

My wife watches TV, I watch UKV, which I find more entertaining.  I raise a glass to you all. J.
