No worries. I think there may be another slightly longer version intended for the Mosin rifles as Brownells sells the two versions.

Hi, the scope and mount came with my M44 rifle so I'm not sure. Had a look on the S&K website and couldn't find much info. Brownells state it is intended for the carbines. But I can't be sure if it will fit the 91/30
