  2. Curious if anyone has a recommendation. Im looking for a decent workbench vise there are so many to choose from. What sort of jaw width and throat depth would suffice?

In my case I have limited space, so dont have a large workbench in garage. Been looking at Stanley they have light duty bench model whihc I like, but not sure if the throat depth and clamping capacity would be feasible, let alone the fact that it is a 'light' duty model.

the others availble are heavy duty model (would this really be necessary)?

I stated 'gun smithing' in commas, as what need for is bufffer tube removal on AR15 style rifle for example. Changing the forend ect...

    appreciate some feedback.

  3. having a clearout. New and boxed - never used out on the range (tested once indoors after purchase), one of those impulse buys when I was looking into CSR. Been sat in the cupboard since 2015.

  6. This is mine, not great quality video but you can see how it works (very nicely!), https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/103575967/FBUK/High%20Res.mp4

Lubo in in Bulgaria, mine took about 10 days from order to delivery, fully tracked all the way, excellent service :D

Did you pay through paypal - send money to friends or family? Just curious as there is no protection from paypal on this type of payment.

  7. Was looking into importing WISE Foods a while back, which is why I bought the "samples" to test. But too much problems with Port Health. Suppliers from US need to be EU approved, their suppliers EU approved, need veterinary certs for meat/diary products, too much problem. In my opinion easiest (less risk) and most cost effective is to go with the legacy at this stage especially with the Euro/GBP exchange rate

  8. Amazon delivery was fine, except for the import fee deposit, which I got back after 2 months. Needed to contact DHL to confirm if there was import duty or taxes which there was not and relay this onto Amazon. I bought:

Wise Company 120 Serving Entree Only Grab and Go Kit (15x12x10-Inch/20-Pounds)

Wise Company 60 Serving Gourmet Seasoned Freeze Dried Meat, 60-Ounce

Shipping & Handling: GBP 39.65 for both buckets

Import Fees Deposit: GBP 62.94 (which was later refunded)
The legacy premium cost me 569 euro (one for entrée 120 portion and breakfast 120 portion). shipping fees was 12.50 euro. As from EU don't have to bother with customs or VAT or any of the import fee deposit.
I think the legacy is a lot more value for bucket. The bucket is very heavy and large compared to WISE. I like variety that is why I purchased both. But if I was to buy Entrée bucket again, definitely going for another legacy premium
    hope that helps.

  10.

...for a family of 5, it's only one meal a day each ..for 36 days.

I'm sure someone on here mentioned buying freeze-dried food from the States via Amazon? Spartan, was it you? If so, please would you remind us?

Correct - Wise Food often have specials on amazon.com. The catch is the charge you an imports fee deposit. When it is delivered contact the delivery service (in my case it was DHL) by email (so you have it in writing) and ask if there where any fees - customs duty of VAT. There was none added to my orders, so I contacted Amazon, advised them and produced the proof and got my full refunds back. There are also some users on ebay selling wise foods, but watch out for the global shipping progam charges (some seller sign up to this) - its a rip-off.
