sherlock what wise words you speak of the mighty 17 rem, ive shot more foxes in nearly 30years with my sako vixen,  i shot the biggest fox ive ever seen at 240 yds dont underestimate it, its a cracker and  ive seen alot of people putting down the 17rem on ukv i wonder how many of them have shot one  dave

well all i can say is i love my remmy,s, i dont want a 1 hole 10 shot group at 2000 yds, ive never had a bad one and i hit and kill what im shootingat, but if you wanna spend a bit of your cash on  your remmy do it, its money well spent, but a friend of mine had a nice remmy in 223 rem, and it shot i/2 at 100yds straight out of the box, he got it blueprinted a jewel trigger, had the h.s stock bedded, paid  a few bob on it, guess what it shot? 1/2 group, i think most factory  rifles could do with a bit fettling,  but thats why they call them  a factory rifle, remington. ruger. winchester. tikka.  sako. brno cz. howa. so its up to you what road you go down. cheers dave.

its weird isn't it, it was the same up here a couple of years ago not to mention myx,y outbreaks and now we have all this flooding it must take a toll on the wildlife something to think about anyway keep them barrels cool 1 sakonut ,

I think its up and down, depending on how much you shoot on one area its so easy to over shoot your land, and if theirs a decline in rabbits their will be a decline in foxes to a certain extent the rabbits above were shot in Cheshire and one that night they were shot I could have shot many more but I run out of ammo dave.

and before you say why shoot so many, the land owner was going to pay to have them gassed, I have permission to shoot on said land, and no meat was wasted dave.
