My V4 arrived here in the UK on the 29th December 2021 and there has not been any request for Custom Duties or VAT.
A Google Search shows that the UK has signed a trade agreement with Canada which came into force on 1 April 2021, (UK-Canada Trade Continuity Agreement (TCA).
It contains Preferential Tariff Rates for bilateral trade in goods between the UK and Canada.
This may be the reason for the lack of Custom Duties or VAT now.
Yes I imported a rifle through an rfd from Canada in May nothing to pay in the way of duty or vat

I have one but I don't use it much. Only for large batches of 308 and 223. It takes some practice but my cases some out dead on. For a while I was getting crap results but I didn't follow the instructions exactly. Once I did it right, all fell into line. Now I SBFL size a LOT of military 308 and have them trimmed up quickly.
That said, I use it for cleaning primer pockets all the time.
It's noisy but it's got a serious gear box inside. A lot of power. ~Andrew
I've read mixed reviews some say it's crap, others really like it ,I'd be using it for 223 ,6.5,300nm,I've seen it for 50% off so might chance it,
Thanks for the input,
-
Just wondering if anyone uses one of the above, and if there any good,
Thanks

The V4 gives you the option to adjust the Transition Weight to a minimum of 1.0 grains.
Yes I've done that,I'm thinking I might adjust the angle slightly and see if that helps, or maybe it needs to be used a little bit to free thing's up,

Have you played with the calibration function and custom speed settings?
Yes,it's the final tricke that's seems to take an age,
-
Well just set my v4 up,I don't think it's any faster, but does seem more consistent than the v3 with the RS80 I'm using, it does away with the separate trickler ,so leaves a bit more space on the bench,

Yes worth doing. Easy to do, better than the flame torch, get good consistent results with it.
Thanks mate, probably order one next week,👍

The induction annealer you’re looking at is the same as I’ve got.
I followed the instructions per this video and it works a charm. Took 20mins to get setup (most of that was stripping the insulating plastic from around the cables) and is really great.
I get very consistent results and it anneals beautifully
That's the video I watched first ,and that's why I was asking if it was worth doing, cheers

Is it one of those hand held heaters,?
I'm thinking of buying one,and watched a few YouTube videos, and they seem less hassle then my gas bottle jobby,
-
Does anyone use an induction heater to anneal there brass ,if so has it been successful,
Cheers
