Yeah, swap plinking for load development. At 45-50p per shot for powder, a few pence saved for a 'budget' bullet isn't worth it.
That said, I've had good results with the 230 grain A-tip, but I'm saving those for >1000y so I've got 220 grain Bergers as my 'budget' bullets 😁

Sensible...
How much extra is the pro?

I've bought one (made to measure) off ebay:
I managed to launch it downrange once but that was my fault I accidentally left it sticking out the front (it survived undamaged)

Yes, Bergara Wilderness. No complaints about accuracy but the barrel rusts like no other I've ever owned, so I have to clean it religiously and store it with a swab of oil.

I've been using RS76 with Berger hybrid 220 in 300 prc, raw chrono figures (not entirely sure what was going on some of the numbers look too high):
78.5gr 2755 2757 2781 2790 2771
79.0gr 2794 2793 2792 2792 2801
79.5gr 2957 2957 2844 2849 2831
80.0gr 2846 3165 2838 2832 2834

Are they the quiet type of material or a bit crunchy to start with before they bed in a bit .
Cureently using digicam harkila but foxy seems to know there’s something there , don’t get the same result with the plain green nomad gear I use for winter and it seems less bright in low light or at night whereas the harkila glows like a lighthouse. If I can see me so can all the animals .It's polycotton ripstop with water repellant (I think) which is a bit stiff when new but softens with use, it's not crunchy as such. There's a waterproof membrane layer underneath.

The waist is velcro'd so still fits with, ahem, a few extra pounds. The fly is a bit odd in that it zips downwards to close, it's a feature not a fault!

If its for PRS shooters there is no market in the UK as despite there being various forums where lots of people say they are having a rifle built or buying a particular rifle for PRS the majority have never and will never shoot a PRS match.
When has that ever stopped anyone buying an AI or PRS rig?

Ironically, tier 4 is expanding, so more people will be able to shoot...

Nice, I managed to get some Hornady brass from Brownells before it sold out.
I was contemplating a Howa but when i asked a dealer I was told they weren't available until next year. Also I'm not sure about mag feeding in the Howa, it needs the longer cip mags.
I got a Bergara HMR wilderness...

Also, check your powder funnel all of mine wouldn't fit the fatter case...
