My failing health, has forced me to confront the fact that I have too many rifles that are just not getting used. So whilst I’m not giving up on shooting, I am reluctantly making a start on thinning out my collection. Initially, I will offer them for sale here only, before deciding how best to proceed. 4th up is a Lee Enfield No.4 Mk2 (F) 1/55 in very good condition. I am told that the serial number 3395XX designates it as an Irish Contract rifle, but cannot claim to be an expert on such matters. Similarly, I was told that the sling, in the wrong model and is for an SLR. The rifle will come with 200 once fired, PPU cases that have been sized and tumbled ready for use, along with 200 PPU 170g bullets to match. Price now reduced to £850.

3rd up, due to my landowner having an aversion to black rifles, is a Bradley Arms BAR-15 in 22lr calibre. It was recently serviced by Mark himself and has been in the cabinet since due to my inability to get out. It comes with a SAK moderator, MI handguard, Magpul MOE stock, cheap UTG 3-9x32 scope, and magazine. Price £800

2nd up a rifle I have advertised here before. A forced move to shooting from the right shoulder means that I can no longer hang on to any of the L/H rifles that I used to prefer. It’s a CZ452, fitted into a PSE Composite stock. The previous sales thread is here, and it hasn’t been used since, so no changes to the description or specification. It has won many competitions, and is fantastically accurate with Lapua  Centre-X.  Price now reduced £725.

1st up, a dedicated 1000 yard Light Gun, that could also be used for F Class. It was built by Pete Walker for a friend who sadly passed away recently. The action is an RPA Quadlite, in I think a McMillan Tooley MBR stock with the forend dovetail for use on a Benchrest. The trigger seems to be the matching standard RPA supplied unit. It is currently fitted with a LW barrel and is chambered in 6.5x55AI, but in all honesty it is shot out and needs to be re-barrelled. To this end, I am offering the rifle as a package, and this will include the cost of a rebarrel in the calibre of the purchaser’s choice, subject to bolt face parameters and a sensible choice of barrel. Dave Wylde of Valkyrie Rifles will do the work when a deal is agreed.

So the package will be, Rifle as is in pictures, Newly fitted barrel in choice of purchaser’s calibre, Nightforce NSX 12-42x56 and rings, Varide Cicognani Benchrest, rear bag.
