So your barrel was straight profile to start, that makes things easier, I have had to sleeve mine.

Sorry the 1moa and .5moa at all ranges is incorrect.
It is often quoted but still wrong.

Are both barrels screwcut and to with what thread?
How heavy is it?

Pretty much most rounds fall short of the ballistics for the mile (even many of the .338 loads).
That does not mean that it cant be done , and you can certainly do it with the kit you have.
Get your self to Orion, good sized steels at a mile, good spotters and good sign near the target Good luck!!!

You too Gary

I agree with Andy, I have many LW barrels and they have all been hammers.

Wind reading looks OK to me, I would guess not enough on the first, over corrected for the second then kept them in the centre after that....
If first two had been sighters you would have cleaned it.
Load might need some work though, or else maybe this is a sign of the barrel going but you have dropped some V's to elevation.

if he had opened that Whisky instead of carrying it around all week, it may have been different 🙂
Well done Dan.

Great piece of kit, light, keeps you dry and comfortable, can be used as a rear bag or front rest.
highly recommended.

Choice of 6.5
in Target Shooting & Informal Long Range Shooting Practice
Posted
OSOK has a very good point, I think the choice of 6mm or 7mm for different goals are superior to the 6.5.
