Madhatter
I have a Vortex Golden Eagle scope that I want lens caps for, the outer diameter of the objective end is 61mm in diameter which seems to fall between the sizes of the Defender caps available, has anyone experience of buying and successfully fitting flip up caps to a Golden Eagle scope? johngarnett
Phone Optics Warehouse in Devon. They supply Vortex GE's and they fitted caps to their stock scope to ensure right sizing for mine. JohnG
Madhatter
I have been advised by Vortex to use the E-10 eye piece and the 0-50 objective cap for those interested, the 56 would be 1mm too big

chaz
I saw a huge array of Vortex branded scope caps at Dauntsey Guns a couple of days ago. I use them, way better quality than Butler Creek, and fold over flat to.
Madhatter
My flip up lens caps arrived and are now fitted, very snug on the objective end but easy to fit, E-10 and 0-50 for a Vortex Golden Eagle Thanks for all your comments and guidance
