What I was getting at is that only offers solace if they both show the same numbers. They could be different, or the trend reversed, and you are left wondering which is correct.

You are right though, your last sentence is closer to the truth I think. As I put in my earlier post on the set of numbers posted, it may be that the loads are generating lower velocities, not higher. The samples just aren't big enough. Occam's Razor, indeed.~Andrew
