bradders Posted November 6, 2017 Report Share Posted November 6, 2017 Something a little different from the norm today A while ago i built a CAR-15/XM177 replica and have just finished this M16A1 retro build. Now that there is new manufacture retro furniture and upper receivers available, these aren't too difficult to put together....as long as the parts are in stock All new furniture, A1 front sight and A1 upper receiver from Nodak Spud. I had an A1 flash hider kicking around also, so that went on too The barrel is a Lothar Walther in special rifle steel, but in a departure from the original this one is in 1:8 twist to allow shooting of any available ammo It's as close to the original as I can make it and will be completed with a ,22 conversion kit for when you want some semi auto fun Brothers in Arms Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
