baldie
Something a little different from the norm. This gun came in basically because the previous owner had snapped a bore snake in the bore [ invention of the Devil ] and then damaged the chamber, trying to remove it. The barrel was a write off. I then bought the gun in , as a donor and stripped it. It now wears a new Sassen 1 in 8" twist, 26" tube in .223 Wylde. Muzzle is threaded 18mm x 1 and has one of my 2 port brakes installed. The action was in perfect condition, and all i've done is install a seamless fit bolt knob. The metalwork was then all finished in Ceracoat Armour black. It has metal 2 piece bases. The stock is a HS precision model and had a couple of minor marks. They were duly repaired, and the stock refinished in Duracoat H + K Black. All work [ as usual ] done in-house. This rifle is up for sale, please see the sales section.
bradders
I'm curious about the .223 Wylde Non Standard, what's that all about Dave?
baldie
Thats what Birmingham stamp on anything SAAMI Mark. If its a CIP spec cartridge, they pop CIP on there. I do believe they charge a bit more for " non standard " too.
