Scotch_egg
I have only been reloading a short while. I stalk and shoot a few of the red'uns. Should I worry about how long I store home loaded ammo, will it be affected the longer it is stored. I tend to load 100 at a time, this will last me a year. However the end of my last batch were inconsistant. Was this just me or is it to be expected? Cheers Scotch
Andrew
IMHO, if you leave them on a shelf they should be fine. If you plan on taking the lot in your vehicle at every outing you might worry about the powder grains breaking down due to agitation. This can cause a slight change in burning rate.~Andrew
