The load I settled on was 67.5g RL 25.

Like Grant, I went up to 69g - hard on brass.

I would start at 65

Neck tension als makes alot of differnce with accuracy in this calibre......

My old barrel had 1200 rounds through it

I used 200 Norma 300 WSM cases prepped (312 nk)

7mm/270WSM reamer.

270 WSM bushing die with 308 (I think) bushing

7mm WSM Forster seater

300 WSM body die with .040" turned off the base...

RL 25

All still have tight primer pockets and before I decided to pull barrel es was single digit at time of last chrony session.

Two more Broughtons ready for duty in November......once ive finished a certain BAT M for someone....... :);)

Hi Andy good to catch up although very breifly.

The .270 die is fine? Just checking that the neck shoulder junction on the die would not interfere with access of the slightly larger 7mm case to the bushing?

Cheers

Dave

270 Die works just fine - the bushing works down to almost base of neck shoulder junction.

Danny - is that trade price....
