Foxes in the news

Hi guys,

Just interested to know what, if any at all, has been the reaction in your area about the incident here in London where a fox savaged twin baby girls, leaving them with what has been described as 'horrific' facial injuries and just clinging on to life.

Around here, where urban foxes are a real problem, people's perception of foxes as harmless creatures appear to be changing quite rapidly. There is even talk that should the fox hunting ban debate come up again any time soon, that the vast majority of urban folk around this part of the country would vote for a return to fox hunting.

Your views are appreciated.

Best,

George

My wife was working in the chalfonts area reading electric meters for southern electric and was very suprised by a doctor saying that they had to close the front door when she came in as they didn't want a fox coming in and attacking them. - That was at 12 ish and the couple that lived there were in their 50's with no kids or babies. She found it funny that such an educated person would think that a fox might attack him or his wife in the middle of the day. But apart from that no one seems bothered at all where we live - near Heathrow airport.
