nell
I know the ultra sonic V tumbler debate rumbles along,i have for some time used ultra sonic and have mixed feelings about the results, primer pockets and inner cases are very clean and free of carbon, but outter casees not as shiny as i would like.... I have recently tried a tumbler with opposite results, shiny out dirty inside, pleasing to the eye but wondering how important if atall the carbon deposits on the inner case are?????? Alycidon
You can buy a liquid brass polish to add to the tumbler media, this really polishes the brass but you do usually get media in the primer hole and the pockets are not as clean as I would like even after 12 hours tumbling. I have a hand operated carbon remover scraper and that soon sorts the job out. A
lancslad
So far I havent bothered cleaning the cases. Not bothered about shiney brass. However was thinking about the insides.......... They do get a "brush out" but not tumbled anything yet. Feedback please gents. essential bit of kit, or only for those who like it shiney.....
