NICK
Hi Gents. Having looked over my Remmie action i have got my head around the mechanics of pre extraction cam and how this gives a mechanical advantage in extracting a fired case that otherwise would be difficult to remove. I presume all Bolt Actions possess this feature or at least something similar. Can anyone tell me how Tikka achieved this with their older 590-595-690-695 line of Actions please. Many thanks. Nick. Guest dasherman
The radius on the bolt handle is smaller than the radius in the track at the back of the action and so works like a cam when the bolt handle is lifted.
