I know that the RG ammo is slightly thicker than commercial brass is it safe to put 25 grains of vagret with a 55 nosler balistic tip (cannot find answer in quickload)

It used to be fine in my Tikka T3(but may not be in your rifle), i used 25 grn varget with RG brass - i would start 10% lower though and work your way up.

I have a T3 with a 12" twist and my favoured load is.....

RG case.

60 grn Berger FBHP

26 grns Varget.

CCI primer (standard )

COL. 2.295" I had to dremel out the mag lips to accept round length..

 

This is a hot load so start 2 grns less & work up..
