Redfox Posted August 23, 2007 Report Share Posted August 23, 2007 This little vixen was chasing mice among the straw lines in the field cut today, the combine driver said he saw a "big dog fox" so farmer rang me, Mmmmm size is in the eye of the beholder, like beauty,Lol. 180yds, 17 rem, bullet went in under the right eye and made the neck wound you see. Redfox Posted August 24, 2007 Author Report Share Posted August 24, 2007 At least some of the other wildlife will have a chance, although the cubs, particularly are quite entertaining when you watch them trying to catch stuff and learning by it. Sad we have to shoot them , but if things are not managed there would soon be nothing to see in the countryside, which the do-gooders can't grasp.
