bluebell
Looks like a really simple idea and can be retro fitted. Anyone tried it? www.zeiss.de
scotsgun
I have a Zeiss Conquest scope with it (Conquest 6.5-20x50). Essentially i wanted a quick handling scope with which i could cull red hinds - where you may have to drop 2 or more hinds quickly and yet they can travel 100yds in just a few seconds. You have to put in a bit extra effort into finding /working up a load thats' good on your rifle and then zero it well. Provided you then keep to that load/bullet combination and are pretty good judging distances, you'll never need to touch the turrets again.....himidity, etc may change bullet drop a bit, but nothing really significant. I comfortably drop hinds from 100-400 ish yds without much fuss. I did once have a Leupold scope with a similar system, but it just wasn't as accurate.
