Butt Pad Recommendation for 308 Long Range

Morning all,

The butt pad on my Tikka M55, which is at least 20 years old (the pad that is, the rifle is far older), has finally crumbled to dust.

Any recommendations for a replacement? This is my 1000yd 308 gun, so comfort and consistency of shouldering are key.

Happy to consider adjustable pads as well as things more basic, but really don't know where to start.

I've generally used Pachmayr pads available from Brownells, plenty of choices and for adjustable, the Graco, also available from Brownells, but you also need a pad to go with that. All of those would require some skills in grinding to fit. There may be pads out there that are manufactured to fit your stock if you do some research.
