Went out last night, farmer reckoned two ducks in two nights to a fox and it had friends with it.

tried various known fox access points around his home fields, from 9pm up to 1 am only saw his cat hunting the hedge, nothing else not even a rabbit.

I put it down to the combine being in the surrounding fields all day harvesting rape seed and disturbing everything, although on other occasions it hasnt really put things off completely, but the rain may not have helped either, oh well tonights another night and there were pigeons by the hundred today, his lad is going to pot a few and leave them on the land.

Unless his dad sees them first, he loves any sort of game and eats anything I drop off at the farm ( as he says "no drugs or hormones in this stuff!!) and he should know what goes into the stuff in the supermarkets.
