shrek Posted June 7, 2009 Report Share Posted June 7, 2009 I have just recived my renewal through and i had put down for permission to purchase or aquire a 223, All thats came through fine HOWEVER... In a 223 im really looking for a speedmaster or equivalent AR15 style therefore being a straightpull rilfe, but on my ticket i have authority to acquire a 223 BOLT ACTION My question is does it need to specifly being a straight pull or as it still has a bolt can i just carry on, as im abit confused????? shrek Posted June 7, 2009 Author Report Share Posted June 7, 2009 Cheers pete, i though so, as my fathers got a mauser m96 straight pull sporter and its classed as a bolt action, didnt want to get the FLO involved really, as hed probably have a s**t fit when i told him i want an ar15 hahaha, should of seen his face when i mentioned a 50BMG If its getting in your way pete it would just be rude not to haha, that little loopy will sit on it nicely until i get the time to build my 243AI, then i'll be in a situation ive got more rifles than scopes !!
