bigun Posted April 21, 2009 Report Share Posted April 21, 2009 picked up crocket last night at 6pm ,then off to the hide ,on the way there up the track we seen two fellow does not more than 500yrds from or tower but on the other side of the forrest ,not on are land ..good sign we thinks there out sunning it up ..so we walks to the hide the back way in under cover of bushes ect the way we always go ..creeps up the bank to see if theres any about and i spied two one doe and one buck out at 130yrds ..right were we used to put the pony carrots, but we ain’t put none out for about two weeks just goes to show they still came for a look and must of thought why we are here we may as well have a bit of this nice grass so i put the mod and load the rifle creeps up nice and slow takes aim and waited for the buck to turn side ways on must of waited near on a minute or more ..gave me time to get my breathing right ..see my chance and lets fly the .25-06 bullet and hits its mark ..i did put one click on the nf scope which really i did not need ..now i know :zip: but dead is dead and its down on the ground this buck is going to the owner of the ground she gets one then we have two so its her turn to have this one ,may get one before the end of the month ,who knows ..we got it back took the jacket of it and its now in the shop waiting to get chopped up in to bangers and will pick up the dollers later crocket says he would of shot it in the head at that range and why did i not shoot it in the front of its chest and i took my time shooting it ..can some body please tell him http://img.villagephotos.com/p/2003-7/263572/DSC00307.JPG http://img.villagephotos.com/p/2003-7/263572/DSC00306.JPG http://img.villagephotos.com/p/2003-7/263572/DSC00304.JPG http://img.villagephotos.com/p/2003-7/263572/DSC00301.JPG http://img.villagephotos.com/p/2003-7/263572/DSC00305.JPG Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

bigun Posted April 21, 2009 Author Report Share Posted April 21, 2009 it only that green tape that you can get a roll for a fiver and a marker pen for the patten ..peels off real easy and leaves no marks ..works ok ..deer seem to like it i cant see the point in wearing all that cammo if your going to be seen holding a nice shiney rifle ..its a tool that should not be seen,still got to make it look good or should i say try .
